Wilson Street Garage

Beitler was retained by the City of Madison to develop a new public parking facility that would provide multiple income producing functions beyond public parking. The East Wilson Street Garage was developed as a below ground four level public parking garage containing 561 spaces. Above ground, the project was designed and engineered to support a 9 floor 159 unit apartment building, 138 private parking spaces and 8,000 square feet of ground floor retail (the "Podium"). After construction, the City was able to sell the Podium as additional income to the ongoing public parking revenue.
